My name is Kat and I’ve been having an affair with flowers most of my life...a beautiful gift from my grandmother. My love for flowers grew in my Grandmothers garden in Monterey, CA. She was an avid gardener and I have fond memories of holding her basket as she snipped each bloom. Once the basket was spilling over with blooms it was back inside to her kitchen where she would open the sides of her table, grab vases of all sizes, and begin to create with the flowers just cut from her garden. Along the way, teaching me of each flower and why she had chosen it for her garden. It was pure magic, and so was she.

I love to create florals with the movement you find in nature, using lots of textures, and allowing each flower to have space to shine amongst all the others. I think the time in my Grandmother's garden inspired this in my floral designs.

My work is about honoring the experience with each couple, each event, and each flower as it is in nature. I believe it’s the small details that make your wedding yours and yours alone. Together we can create magic for your once in a lifetime event, as well as honoring your budget and time
